The Obayda family

originated from Mosul, Iraq,

and can be traced back to the 19^th Century.

 

They moved down to Baghdad and Basra to start various businesses activities.

 

Like many Iraqi business families, due to the pressures and restrictions of various revolutions, they spread outside Iraq in search of a more business friendly environment.

 

Now they are established over three continents and when the political and economic climate in Iraq improves, they will participate in the reconstruction and further development of Iraq.
